This course will give you and your staff the skills and tactics you can use to save life and dramatically change the outcome for a critically injured person in less than 60 seconds. When the crisis event occurs, medical first responders are trained not to be present in the danger area until the scene is safe and secure. This could be up to an hour or more. When a medical emergency occurs, success or failure will depend on the person on the scene, not professional first responders. This is not a basic first aid course. The concepts presented are based upon the most current and innovative techniques currently in use by the U.S. military as dictated by the Tactical Combat Casualty Care model as well as civilian EMS trauma guidelines.
